For account, app or privacy help, email [email protected] from the address on your account. Describe the step that failed and any error you saw. Never include a link code, server key, password or provider credential.
Your subscription
- Subscribed on the website: open your account and choose Manage billing to change your card, download invoices or cancel.
- Subscribed in the iPhone app: manage or cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). Use Restore purchases in the app if your subscription is missing. Apple handles refund requests for App Store purchases.
- One USD 39.00/year subscription covers the Mac and iPhone apps on the same Dotobot account. Cancelling keeps app access until the end of the paid year. Subscription expiry does not stop or delete your self-hosted server.
Your servers
For installation steps, see Set up your server or the public harness repository. You manage your server, backups and updates. Open Your servers from the app's user menu to add a server with its link code or switch servers. Removing a saved connection does not stop or delete the server.
If a server will not connect, check that it is running and its address is reachable from your device. Check DNS if you use a hostname. An unavailable server stays in your list so you can reconnect later or choose another server. If you rotated the linking key, choose Relink and paste its new code.
If saved servers or a subscription are missing on another device, use the same Dotobot sign-in method. Accounts are not automatically merged because their email addresses match, including Sign in with Apple's Hide My Email.
Delete your account
Choose Delete account in the app's account settings or on your account page. This removes your Dotobot sign-in identity and cloud-held connections and cancels a website subscription. Cancel an App Store subscription in your Apple ID settings as well. Your self-hosted server, bots and files remain under your control. Rotate the server's linking key if you need to revoke access from devices that have cached it. Contact support if you cannot sign in or deletion cannot finish.
Report a problem
When signed in, choosing Report on a message sends a message excerpt and its context to Dotobot for review and saves diagnostics on your linked harness. Automatic diagnostic reports stay on your server. Review diagnostic files for private data before sharing them separately. For an abuse report, contact [email protected].
Security
For a harness vulnerability, follow SECURITY.md. Report private app or account-service issues to [email protected]; do not put account credentials or private app source in a public issue.
